Four Generations. One Promise: Family Helping Families.
Four Generations.
One Promise:
Family Helping Families.
Before there were refrigerators in every home, our family was already earning Peoria's trust.
DJ Mulligan’s Nearly New Appliances isn’t a franchise, and it never will be. It’s a family trade passed down for over 60 years, built on the same idea every generation: show up, do honest work, and treat every household like your own.

It started with ice long before refrigerators
The Beginning
Before home refrigeration existed, DJ's great-grandfather delivered ice door-to-door across Peoria; the original "keep your food cold" business.
The Second & Third Generations
As refrigerators replaced ice boxes, the family adapted, moving into appliance repair and building DJ Mulligan's Appliance Repair into a trusted name, one generation carrying the trade
forward to the next.
Today, 20 Years and Counting
Davy Mulligan (DJ) founded DJ Mulligan's Nearly New Appliances, combining decades of repair expertise with a smarter, more affordable way to buy appliances. He's personally run it ever since, and now has his son working by his side.
A Personal Note From Davy Mulligan
A Personal Note From
Davy Mulligan
Times are tough, and buying brand-new isn't always in the budget, and honestly, it shouldn't have to be. My family has spent four generations helping Peoria families keep their homes running, and that's still exactly what we do today. We treat every customer like they're part of the family, because in a lot of ways, they are.
